All eCenica servers are housed within a highly secure, ultra-modern datacentre . The centre is connected to the Internet by 13 GigE (1000 Mb/s) connections from 6 major backbone carriers, including Time Warner and Verio.

Servers are covered by 24/7 camera surveillance and armed patrol and served by redundant UPS, generator backup and smoke detection/fire protection systems. Our experienced staff monitor the centre's systems 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year, ensuring optimum performance and quick response times.

Datacentre staff

The eCenica Team have over 40 years experience in IT systems and development. Qualifications include; MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), MCP-I (Microsoft Certified Professional in Internet Technology) and CISCO certifications. Including Degrees in Information Systems and Computer Science. The datacentre is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.

Datacentre Security

The Datacentre is a highly secure, limited access facility. The facility is secured with Card Key Access System, 24-hour Video Monitoring System with cameras installed to cover all accessible floor space.

Datacentre Connectivity

Our datacentre is connected at 6 major internet peering points (Time Warner, Verio, Cogent, Allegiance, Williams, MFN, Savvis, ELI DS3. All connections are 1 GigE (1000 Mb/s) pipes and under constant monitoring.

In total the datacentre has a 13 GigE (13,000 Mb/s) backbone, with each eCenica server connected via a switched 10/100 Ethernet port.

Datacentre Environment Controls

The entire centre has 12 inch raised flooring with in-floor routed Air Conditioning and Power. Each server cabinet has cooling vents on the floor and a air circulating fan to pull the cool air through the cabinet.

The air conditioning system is redundant with zone based temperature monitoring and an industrial grade filtration system.

Datacentre Power Supply

The power system in the centre provides industrial grade conditioned power, designed to run the entire data centre without interruption. The power system is backed by five industrial grade UPS systems, and two 1250 KW and 1,500 KW2 Megawatt Industrial Diesel Generators for secondary power backup.

If the powers goes down, your server will stay online.
